Dr Lyndon Meehan graduated from Cardiff Dental School in 2005. Since qualifying, he has gained Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and completed a Masters Degree in Clinical Endodontics at the University of South Wales in 2015.
Lyndon is a General Dental Council registered Specialist in Endodontics, a title reserved for dentists who meet the highest of standards in education, clinical excellence and teaching in their field. His portfolio of treatment. teaching and research was collated over many years of working in this field of dentistry, allowing him to complete endodontic procedures to the highest standards expected.
Lyndon is particularly interested in research in the following areas:
- The immediate management and subsequent endodontic treatment of teeth, following traumatic injuries
- Sports Dentistry; resulting in him in providing dental care in the athlete’s village polyclinic, during the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games
Lyndon is a Clinical Post-Graduate Lecturer in Endodontics at Cardiff University Dental School, teaching on the Masters programme for Clinical Endodontics. He is part of the sports dentistry research team and a visiting lecturer at UCL Eastman Dental Institute London.
Lyndon lectures nationally on sports dentistry, dental trauma and endodontics. He is a member of:
